Lactic acid: An alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) produced by fermentation of natural carbohydrates. Accelerates skin renewal by gentle exfoliation of stratum corneum. Demonstrates excellent moisturising properties.

Lactobionic acid: A polyhydroxy acid (PHA). This naturally occurring, low-irritating acid enhances exfoliation of the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of the skin) without side effects. Shows strong hydrating properties; by binding atmospheric water, lactobionic acid forms a natural gel film that gives hydration, plumpness and smoothness to the skin. Demonstrates excellent antioxidant properties and helps prevent skin damage caused by oxidative stress. Due to chelating capacity, it effectively removes excess dangerous metal molecules.

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate: A salt of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). Brightens skin, promotes collagen production and acts as an excellent antioxidant.

Glycosaminoglycans: Polysaccharides naturally present in the skin as major components of the extracellular matrix. Exhibit excellent moisturizing and skin regenerating properties. Support the collagen network by inhibiting matrix metalloproteinase (MMP), enzymes responsible for collagen degradation. Increases skin resistance to physical damage and enhances skin barrier function. Clinical studies showed that glycosaminoglycans reduce the appearance of dark circles, rosacea and skin redness.

Plant sugars: Plant-derived sugar molecules with humectant properties. Help to limit water loss and retain moisture in the skin. Promote natural production of hyaluronic acid to help reduce visible signs of aging.

Multi-mineral complex: A powerful complex containing 3 major minerals necessary for healthy skin: magnesium, zinc and copper. Stimulates mitochondrial cell respiration, increases production of cellular energy and invigorates dull and stressed skin. Shows antioxidant and anti-glycation activity.

Proline: An amino acid used as a building block in the production of proteins. Increases collagen production, improves skin elasticity and promotes skin repair and regeneration.

Glycogen: A polysaccharide which boosts energy levels and increases cellular metabolic activity. Improves skin moisture, promotes collagen production and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Yeast: An extract of yeast and a filtrate of the lysate (the solution consisting of the material released from cell lysis; cellular disruption) obtained by the fermentation of yeast (Saccharomyces). Rich in amino acids, essential minerals, beta-glucan and vitamins. Yeast possesses anti-inflammatory, revitalising and protective properties. Increases cell respiration and metabolism, stimulates oxygen consumption and enhances skin repair.

Protease & Subtilisin: Enzymes that degrade the corneo-desmosomal links between damaged or dead cells, accelerate cell turnover and promote skin renewal.

Adenosine triphosphate (ATP): A major source of intracellular energy. Promotes natural skin repair to help reduce visible signs of aging.

Adenosine monophosphate (AMP): A source of intracellular energy. Shows energising, repairing and skin-conditioning properties.

Vegetable protein: A plant-derived protein with moisturising and skin-conditioning properties. Enhances collagen production and promotes skin firmness and elasticity.

Shiso (Perilla frutescens): Shiso, also known as Japanese mint, is a plant rich in polyphenols (particularly rosmarinic acid) and triterpenoids (particularly ursolic acid). We use an extract obtained from Shiso leaf which demonstrates excellent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-allergic properties. Shiso leaf has been used for years in Kampo medicine due to strong detox properties, and its ability to soothe sensitive skin and prevent skin reactivity. The oil extracted from the seeds of Shiso is the richest plant source of omega-3 fatty acids. It replenishes moisture, reinforces the skin’s natural barrier and shows strong restructuring, repairing, healing and soothing properties.

Hyaluronic Acid: A full spectrum of different molecular weights (very low, low and medium) of pure hyaluronic acid working in synergy. Shows multiple activities: improves skin moisture, strengthens barrier function, helps to retain and maintain skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and restores skin suppleness.

Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin): A synthetic form of vitamin B12. Plays an important role in energy production, cell metabolism and DNA repair.

Pomegranate (Punica granatum): Pomegranate seed extract is rich in vitamin C and shows excellent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, brightening and regenerative properties.

Uracil: One of the four nucleobases of RNA. Helps carry out the synthesis of many enzymes necessary for cell function. Enhances skin revitalisation and repair.

Guanosine: A nucleoside comprising guanine attached to a ribose. Shows anti-inflammatory activity and promotes cell repair.

Dimethicone: A synthetic polymer molecule with excellent emollient, conditioning and skin protecting properties. Fills in fine lines and wrinkles and gives the skin a plumper look.

Glycerin: A vegetable-derived molecule naturally present in the skin. Acts as an excellent humectant, a substance that attracts moisture from the environment and increases the amount of water in the surface layers of the skin.

Shea (Butyrospermum parkii) butter: Shea butter is a natural lipid extracted from the seeds of the Shea tree, also known as Karité. Demonstrates excellent moisturising, smoothing, healing and protecting properties.

Vitamin E Acetate (Tocopheryl Acetate): An acetic acid ester of Vitamin E. Acts as a strong antioxidant, enhances moisturisation and strengthens the skin barrier.

Plant-derived esters: A blend of 2 esters (Apricot Kernel Oil Polyglyceryl-6 Esters and Polyglyceryl-10 Dipalmitate) made from raw materials of 100% plant origin. Possesses excellent emollient, skin-conditioning and protective properties.

Acetyl tyrosine: An acetylated form of non-essential amino-acid L-Tyrosine. Shows skin-conditioning properties.

Hydrogenated castor oil: A virgin castor oil pressed from castor beans. Provides a protective barrier, reduces transepidermal water loss and promotes moisturisation.

Mannitol: A sugar molecule with moisturising and skin-conditioning properties.
