Sunscreens

A novel micro-encapsulation technology: organic UV filters are encapsulated in silica-based capsules, which are invisible in formulation and on the skin. Encapsulated filters have a low chemical load since the encapsulation process prevents direct skin contact (encapsulated organic filters remain on top of the skin surface) resulting in a reduced dermal up-take and low allergy potential.

Phospholipids

Major building components in the structure of cell membranes. These molecules mimic the lipid structure of the upper layer of the skin (stratum corneum) and provide moisturising, repairing and protective properties.

Glycolipids

Biomimetic lipid molecules with structuring, repairing and protective properties. Strengthen the barrier function and boost hydro-retaining capacity of skin.

Squalane

Derived from Mediterranean olive oil, this botanical ingredient mimics natural skin lipids. Squalane replenishes moisture, prevents moisture loss and restores skin’s suppleness. It also acts as an antioxidant to help protect the skin from damaging free radicals.

Sesame Seed Oil

Shows excellent moisturising, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Due to its healing properties it has been used for centuries to treat troubled skin. Contains many ingredients to help prevent visible signs of skin aging.

Soybean Oil

Extracted from the seeds of the soybean. Rich in isoflavones, omega-3, omega-6 and vitamin E. shows strong antioxidant and protective properties. Excellent moisturiser that keeps the skin smooth and healthy.

Soybean Sterols

Structurally similar to skin natural lipids, these phytosterols derived from soybeans moisturise skin, helps reduce water loss and strengthen natural barrier function. Shows strong soothing properties.

Grape Seed Oil

Derived from the seeds of grapes, this oil is rich in omega-6 and powerful antioxidants. It is an excellent moisturiser: light and thin, grape seed oil is easily absorbed by the skin leaving it hydrated and soft. Powerful antioxidants provide protection against damaging free radicals.

Botanical Antioxidant Complex

A proprietary botanical complex containing 12 different plants (Shiso Green tea , Centella , Ginkgo, Pine, Echinacea , Golden root, Carrot, Milk thistle, Turmeric, Astragalus and Indian gooseberry- Emblica). Rich in rosmarinic acid (from Shiso), polyphenol Epigallocatechin gallate (from Green tea), asiaticoside (from Centella), flavonoids (from Ginkgo), pycogenol (from Pine), cichoric acid (from Echinacea), polyphenols (from Golden root), beta-carotene (from Carrot), silymarin (from Milk thistle), curcumin (from Turmeric), flavonoids (from Astragalus) and ellagic acid (from Emblica) This complex demonstrates strong antioxidant activity to help reduce formation of hazardous free radicals and prevent oxidative damage.

Tropical Fern (Polypodium Leucotomos)

Used for centuries for the treatment of different skin diseases. Demonstrates anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Boosts the skin’s immune system.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol)

A naturally derived vitamin with powerful antioxidant and photoprotective properties. Tocopherol is an excellent moisturiser that helps to reduce water loss and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier.

Olive Oil

Rich in primary fatty acids. Olive oil has excellent nourishing, regenerative and soothing properties. It is an excellent antioxidant due to the high amount of natural phenols and squalane.
