Prebiotics: A blend of sugar molecules called α-glucooligosaccharides obtained from corn and beetroot, and β-fructooligosaccharides derived from yacon tubers (Polymnia sonchifolia). Acetyl Heptapeptide-4: A peptide composed of seven amino acids which helps to improve the skin’s defence system and reinforce skin protective barrier by promoting microbiota balance and diversity.
Shiso (Perilla frutescens): Shiso, also known as Japanese mint, is a plant rich in polyphenols (particularly rosmarinic acid) and triterpenoids (particularly ursolic acid). We use an extract obtained from Shiso leaf which demonstrates excellent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-allergic properties. Shiso leaf has been used for years in Kampo medicine due to strong detox properties, and its ability to soothe sensitive skin and prevent skin reactivity. The oil extracted from the seeds of Shiso is the richest plant source of omega-3 fatty acids. It replenishes moisture, reinforces the skin’s natural barrier and shows strong restructuring, repairing, healing and soothing properties.
Botanical blend: A blend of fermented grape (Vitis vinifera) fruit, ginger (Zingiber officinale) root and Frankincense (Bowellia serrata) resin. Amino Acid Complex: A blend of 11 amino acids (Aspartic Acid, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Isoleucine, Proline, Threonine, Glucose, Histidine, Phenylalanine) which helps to replenish lost moisture and keep skin moisturised. Aspen bark (Populus tremuloides): The extract from the bark of the Aspen tree is rich in salicylates, naturally occurring plant-based derivatives of salicylic acid. It shows excellent antioxidant, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, preservative and astringent properties.
